Assault w/ Gun - Pepper's Night Club Thu, May 21 2009
On 05-21-2009, between 1:15 a.m. and 1:30 a.m., a shooting occurred on the parking lot of Pepper’s Nightclub, located at 4515 N. Highway 763.
Deputies learned of the shooting when the victim, a 21 year old male resident of Columbia, arrived at a local hospital via private vehicle. The victim sustained at least one gunshot wound that required immediate medical treatment. Deputies contacted witnesses who indicated the victim was sitting in a vehicle, on the parking lot, when he was shot.
At this time, the victim is receiving medical treatment at a local hospital. No additional information concerning his condition is available.
The investigation is ongoing and suspect information was obtained from the witnesses. That information may be released later in the investigation
