INCIDENT LOCATION: 2200 West Ash St

VICTIM: Petro Mart Convenience and two clerks.

DETAILS OF INCIDENT: At approximately 2:33 AM on April 13, 2009 two subjects wearing ski masks entered the Petro Mart at 2200 West Ash Street armed with a handgun and demanded cash from the registers. The clerks complied with the demands and the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash along with several tobacco products. The suspects then left on foot traveling west from the business.

A Boone County Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit was called to the scene and assisted by tracking the suspects on the rain soaked ground to 2401 West Broadway before being unable to track the suspects any further.

Suspect 1 is described as being a black male approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall and having a thin build. He was wearing a black shirt, black ski mask, dark shoes and denim pants. The pants were distinctive in the fact that they had slightly lighter colored cargo pockets located on the front of the pants legs above the knees.

Suspect 2 is described as being a black male approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall and having a thin build. He was wearing a black shirt, black ski mask, white shoes and khaki pants. These pants were also distinctive in the fact that they had cargo pockets located on the front of the pants legs above the knees.
